Sager Strong Team - Cure Pancreatic Cancer Walk

Sager Strong teamOn Saturday, May 12th, dozens of Sager employees and friends participated in the Lustgarten Foundation Cure Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk in Easton, MA. The event was a 5-mile run or walk.

What makes pancreatic cancer such an abrupt and life-changing disease is that it can remain dormant within an individual for up to 18 years before showing symptoms. Once the symptoms show, the disease has usually reached an irreversible stage. Awareness and increased research funding are critical to finding a cure.

With an initial goal of raising $5,000 in donations, an incredible $10,583 was raised by the Sager Strong - in Memory of Jeff Grossman team! What makes this charity walk unique is that, due to private funding, 100% of the donations go directly to pancreatic cancer research.

Sager Strong at the finish line!Kudos and thanks to all the participants and those who donated!
