Frank Flynn, President
As president of Sager Electronics, Frank Flynn is responsible for the execution of the company's strategic growth plans. He works closely with his executive management team to ensure the adoption of the Sager sales strategy throughout the organization, to drive sales growth and to promote operational excellence.
As a second generation Sager employee, Frank joined Sager Electronics in 1983 and was appointed president of the company in 1999. Prior to assuming the position of president, Frank served as chief financial officer, chief operating officer, vice president of finance, and director of corporate development. Among his many accomplishments, Frank is credited with the acquisition of CalSwitch, a West Coast distributor of electromechanical components, which cemented Sager as a national distributor and strengthened Sager's position in the market. He drove the company's move to build a new state-of-the-art distribution center and he was instrumental in moving the company to a new ERP system.
Since assuming the role of president, Frank has led the company through a period of unprecedented change during the past twelve years. In that time, he has brought focus and structure to Sager's market position, customer base and sales strategy. In support of the company's positioning and strategy, he has introduced customer programs and technological advancements including a new warehouse management system and the establishment of a strategic logistics and customer service center network.
In 2011, the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) bestowed its highest honor, the Gail S. Carter Award, to Frank in recognition of his contributions to the industry and for his active role in the association and civic affairs. Frank is a member of the ECIA board of directors and the Electronics Distribution Show (EDS) board of directors.
