C&K has announced a change of plating on SMT terminals for all CCM04 MK3 products, specifically the 6 and 8 contact blocks without switch. This includes a move from silver plating (LFS index on part number) to pure tin plating (LFT index on part number). The reason for the change is standardization of the plating for the CCM family in general. All other part numbers are already with pure tin terminals. This should improve product shelf life as tin is less sensitive than silver to corrosive environments.
