Please be advised BI Technologies has been inadvertently supplying product without the LF identifier. The exclusion of the LF identifier was to have indicated that the terminals contained lead. However, BI has been informed that all of their production since February of 2005 has been lead free terminals.
Additionally, BI is not aware of any manufacturer offering a version of this package with lead terminals since the RoHS legislation of 2005.
BI is unable to get clarification as to the reason for this oversight in their factory. Recent organizational restructuring has removed the individuals closest to this issue.
Effective immediately, all orders for the models 44 and 45 must include the LF designation for lead free. However, if customers chose to not change their part numbers for administrative purposes, they need to understand that the terminals on the models 44 and 45 are, in fact, lead free.
