Quality Management System Meets Global Standards of Military / Aerospace Industry
MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. - February 15, 2010 - Sager Electronics, the electronic distribution industry's leading privately held, employee-owned company, today announced its certification to the comprehensive military and aerospace quality standard in the industry, AS9120.
The new standard, AS9120, was designed specifically for organizations that resell, warehouse and distribute parts to military and aerospace customers. AS9120 specifically addresses custody, traceability, control and availability of records, and elevates a company's quality management system to the global standards adopted by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).
