The CL-S700, Citizen's latest and most advanced logistics/shipping printer, features the same superior design and quality that is characteristic of all Citizen printers. Built to stand up to the rigors of warehousing and manufacturing environments, the CL-S700's all-steel frame and cabinet are constructed for ruggedness and reliability.
Using a revolutionary Cross-Emulation control board, the CL-S700 can easily switch from Datamax to Zebra emulations with the touch of a button via a large programmable LCD control panel. The CL-S700 features parallel, serial and USB interfaces standard and also offers optional Ethernet and Wireless LAN.

The CL-S700 also features a unique front-loading rewinder option. This allows for all rewinder loading and unloading to be done from the front of the printer. Printer ribbons and media loading are easily accomplished with the printer cabinet's Hi-Open design that opens vertically a full 90° allowing easy access and placement of the printer in confined settings. The CL-S700 features Ribbon capacity up to 450 meters long supporting both inside and outside wound.
The CL-S700 also features proven Citizen technology like Active Ribbon Control and Positioning (ARCP) that eliminates ribbon wrinkle and media slippage. Featuring print run speeds of up to 10 inches per second, the CL-S700 ships with Windows 2000, XP and Vista drivers and also comes with label making software.
