Series 60, 61, 62, and 63 Optical Encoders RoHS Compliant

The following changes are in process and will be fully implemented by July 1, 2006. Zinc (QQ-Z-325 or ASTM B633 Type II) and tin-zinc (AMS 2434B II) have been identified as alternatives to the cadmium plating (QQ-P-416) currently used on some encoder bushings. Grayhill has performed the necessary testing to qualify both of these RoHS compliant plating materials. Grayhill will use the tin-zinc (AMS 2434B II) as an alternative to cadmium plating.
