BREAK-TO-LENGTH FLAT HEADERS IN CUSTOM PIN LENGTHS FOR
ASSEMBLY FLEXIBILITY AND REDUCED INVENTORIES ANNOUNCED BY ITW PANCON
Bolingbrook, Ill. - A versatile new line of break-to-length flat headers with custom length pins in
straight and right-angle configurations for great production flexibility and reduced inventories has been announced by ITW Pancon.
ITW Pancon's new Mas-ConŽ Flat Headers easily mate with a variety of other 0.100-inch pitch connectors as well as with ITW Pancon's
standard Mas-Con IDC sockets.
These new flat headers feature custom pin sizes in a wide range of mating lengths and tail lengths -- from 0.105 to 0.685 in. (mating) and 0.120 to 0.140 in. (tail). The rugged header wafer can be easily broken to fit as needed. Headers are provided to match any requirement -- up to 36 circuits with standard 0.100 in. spacing between circuits.
Fabricated with high quality copper alloy pins plated in a choice of tin or gold over nickel, Mas-Con Flat Headers are offered in straight and right angle styles to match a range of applications.
Electrical current rating is 4.0A maximum per pin with 5,000 Megaohms insulation resistance. Temperature operating range is -67°F to 221°F (-55°C to 105°C).
