Higher Time Delay Ampere Ratings For Products With Increased Power Consumption
The Cooper Bussmann 6125TD BrickTM fuse series from
Cooper Electronic Technologies' overcurrent protection group features new ampere ratings of
10A, 12A and 15A. These are the highest ampere ratings available in the overcurrent protection
industry for this size of surface mount time delay fuse.
The 6125TD Series offers a compact solution to meet the need for higher time delay ampere
ratings in products with increased power consumption, such as laptop computers.
These surface mount fuses are time delay and designed to meet UL/CSA standards for overcurrent
protection. The new, increased ampere ratings are accommodated in the same size footprint
(6.10 x 2.69 x 2.69mm) for the full series. This universal size enables design engineers to avoid
the hassle of changing out pad layouts regardless of the required ampere rating.
Environmentally rugged 6125TD fuses comply with the EIA-IS-722 standard. They are solder
immersion compatible and have a wire-in-air design.
